DESCRIPTION:I invite you to learn the sacred healing art of Reiki I with deep reverence, at the beautiful ‘Birdsong Retreat, located at Gruyere in the gorgeous Yarra Valley. \nReiki I is a journey of self healing, it is known for it’s ability to relax the parasympathetic nervous system, enabling deep relaxation and healing of the body through the emotional, spiritual, mental and physical aspects of self. \nLearning Reiki I is the beginning of a healing journey, and an opening, into the world of energy healing of self and others, on many levels. Reiki works along side many other healing modalities, harmoniously.\nOver the weekend, you will learn the history, principles, and  foundations of Reiki.  You will learn about your energy centres, how to connect with your angelic healing team. You will receive ‘attunements’ which is essential for Reiki level I training.  These sacred ceremonies, conducted by your Reiki Master, open and align your chakras to the Reiki energy. Through this process, your ability to channel and transmit healing energy to yourself and others is enhanced, creating a profound transformation within you.\nWhile Reiki I, is primarily a self healing journey, you will learn how to give Reiki safely to others. You will have hands on experience, to develop your intuition and sensitivities to the energy, and other people’s energies. You will learn protection techniques, grounding and clearing techniques. \nYou will come away with the knowledge and skills to heal yourself, and heal others. \nReiki I will be offered on Saturday 14th and Sunday the 15th of September 10-4pm. Includes a nourishing lunch, snacks and teas. \nThere will be online group connection after 21 days of your self healing journey, for questions, sharing and support. \nOn Saturday night, if you would like to join us, we will head to the local Italian restaurant for connection and a delightful meal (not included).\nExchange for Reiki level I is $500 pp for the weekend teachings.\nAs a mother of four, I can testify that learning Reiki, changed my life around into one of peace and harmony.  Being able to assist the children and myself through life’s challenges with Reiki has been an incredible blessing indeed. To clear my space, and spaces around me, purify my food, assist my animals and much more. \nABOUT JENNIE \nJennie has been a Reiki Master since 2012.\nLearning and integrating other energetic modalities into her healing services. \nJennie has been offering healing to the community since 2015, she opened Diamond Light Healing Centre in 2018.\nIn 2023 Jennie wrote a book called  ’Rise Above Life’ – Transform Stress, Anxiety and Depression, bringing forth many skills and techniques she has learnt over her own self healing journey, and with her clients. Tips and tools that are free and easy to use, that you can use to heal yourself. \nOPTIONAL OFFERS\nIf you are coming from afar, there is provision for a few people to stay Friday and Saturday nights, at the beautiful ‘Songbird’ retreat, with a delicious breakfast the next morning. \nThis is an optional extra. $120 pp per night. \nIf sharing the room $60 pp per night. \nDinner can also be offered on any additional nights, (except Sat).\n (Book overnight with Liz, Birdsong owner)\nLiz and I will be offering a deeply relaxing healing afternoon from 3pm,\non Friday 12th with tea, a meander through her lovely garden, a inspirational circle, delicious dinner, and a relaxing sound bath, so you can release yourself of any worries and thoughts before you start your Reiki journey the following morning.  ($70 pp person) \nTESTIMONIALS\nThe Reiki 1 course with Jennie was life changing for me ! I had always been interested in Reiki but did not know much about it, but I can tell you it was the best thing I have ever done.
